MARCH, n.2 Weaving: a lathe of wood which is connected with the treddles of a loom and, moving upon joints, exerts leverage upon the spring staffs and hence the heddle shafts (Sc. 1818 Sawers).Sc. 1807 J. Duncan Art of Weaving 90:
