MILLED, ppl.adj. Also mill't. Of a ewe: mated to a ram of a different breed (Cai., Slk. 1962); also, having black and white markings (Slk. 1962).Sc. 1886 C. Scott Sheep-Farming 18:
When they have been crossed with rams of a different breed, they are called crones, crocks, or milled ewes.
