NICTION, n. Also diction (Marw.). Punishment, chastisement, scolding. Gen. in pl.Ork. 1924 P. Ork. A.S. II. 78:
The faults of discipline, or "niction," to give the right word, were faults — if they were faults — of the time.

Thoo'll get thee nictions the night.
