I. n. A great din, a squealing or screaming (Sh. 1964).Sh. 1915 Old-Lore Misc. VIII. i. 61:
Hit soonded a' da waer — lik very ongaens o' da bokies dimsells — an' iz he efterlans sed: “Hit yüst began wi' a öink, in' keepit on da sam wye!”

II. v. To squeal or yell, as a pig (Sh. 1964).
