OOTLEUK, n. Also -luik. Sc. forms of Eng. outlook (Abd. 1871 W. Alexander Johnny Gibb xxxii.; Sh. 1899 Shetland News (1 April), luik; Sh., Ork., Abd. 1964). See Leuk. Sc. tends to retain the formation where Eng. now prefers look-out.
