ORRATIE, n. In phr. cow the orratie, a severe dressing-down, a scolding. See Cow, v.1, III.ne.Sc. 1832 P. Buchan Secret Songs 48:
But I wou'dna that my minny kent, That I was at the tavern; I wou'd get cow the orratie.
