PEEDGIE, n. Also peachie (Inv. 1948 Football Times (11 Sept.); Nai. 1958), peegee (Inv. 1952 Daily Mail (5 April)). A small glass marble (Rs. 1910; Mry. 1930, Inv. 1948); also with alternative dim. ending peedgack, peechack, (i) id. (Nai. 1929; Inv. 1948); (ii) also applied to a very small person or thing (Inv. 1948).
