¶SCHRAGIE, adj. Phs. = lopped, pruned, from Eng. dial. shrag, to lop, prune (a tree), a lopped branch. But the 1881 ed. of J. Young reads scraggie.Gsw. 1860 J. Young Poorhouse Lays 78:
