SKYAIK, v., n. [skjɛ:k]

I. v. To twist, contort. Only in ppl.adj. skyaiket, squint, askew, deriv. skyaiky, clumsy, awkward, of walking, with a crooked gait (Ork. 1929 Marw.).

II. n. The sulks, pouts (Ork. 1929 Marw.). In phr. to tak the skyaik, to sulk, pout.
