¶BOUZIE, n. A nonce word poss. meant to represent a reduced dim. form of Eng. slang boozing ken, a drinking den.Ayr. 1817 D. McKillop Poems 13:
I'd pelt him [the Devil] up wi' big snaw ba's, An' lash his heels wi' gospel tause, Aff till his bouzie.
