DOORELDINK, n. Also -ding. The perfunctory doing of anything, a hasty clean-up, a rough-and-ready repair, any slap-dash treatment (Slg. (-ding), Fif. (-dink) 1975). [See Ding, Dink. The first element is obscure. Cf. the somewhat sim. Dandie-Claw, Dondie-Birl.]
