BULGER. Also Bilger. A native or dweller in Cairnbulg, Aberdeenshire (Abd. 1913 J. Cranna Fraserburgh 263). The village itself is locally called Bilger toun (Abd. 1958 Bulletin (2 April)). [′bɪlgər (′tun)]
