DICKSONIA. Bot. A genus of tree ferns of the Southern Hemisphere (1793 L'Héritier in Mem. Acad. Sc. Turin XIII. 9). Also dicksoniana specif. name of a kind of willow (1805 Smith Eng. Botany XX. 390).
