EDWARDII. Zool. Specif. name of various marine animals, Couchia, a midge-fish (1865 J. Couch in Jnl. Linnean Soc. (Zool.) IX. 39), Praniza or Anceus, an isopod (1858 C. Bate in Ann. & Mag. Nat. Hist. (Sept.) 168, erron. edwardsii).
