KERRIA. Bot. A genus of rosaceous shrubs with yellow flowers, found in China and Japan, also known as Jew's mallow or Corcharus (1817 Trans. Linnaean Soc. XII. 154).
[Called after William Kerr (†1814), from Scotland, gardener at Kew and Oriental plant-collector.]
