BANDIT, n. Term of abuse for a person.Sc. 2002 Daily Record 18 Oct 91:
Lee Wilkie, Maurice Ross and Barry Ferguson all trained with United as boys. Wilkie's family are all Dundee United people and he was with us until our youth coach Kenny Cameron joined Dundee.
Unknown to me Kenny, the wee bandit that he is, got Lee to go with him. Ferguson trained with United in Glasgow but chose to join Rangers.
Sc. 2003 Evening Times 15 Feb 64:
He'll be busting a gut to play and will feel he's good enough to go in and do it at this level — he's a big-headed wee bandit.
