SUEDER, n. A Swede, a Swedish soldier.Sc. 1746 S.C. Misc. I. 369:
That, on Tuesday and Wednesday morning, there marched out of Edinburgh 11000 regular troops, for the west, and 3000 militia, whereof 1000 Sueders.
