The seaweed, Alga marina or Laminaria, now only in combs.: 1. tar(r)i(e)cro(o)k(e), -kruk, tarrykrook, a kind of mattock or digging-fork having the prongs bent at right angles to the shaft, used to gather or spread seaweed for manure (Sh. a.1838 Jam.
