TENON, n. Sc. form of Eng. tendon (ne.Sc. 1972). See P.L.D. §64. Adj. tenony, sinewy, full of muscle, in comb. tenony hough, a cut from a leg of beef.Sc. 1819 Scott Bride of Lamm. xxxiv.:
