TEVEN, adj., numeral. A number, probably a deformation of seven, used in children's counting-out rhymes (Cai. 1972).ne.Sc. 1881 W. Gregor Folk-Lore 169:
Eenrie, twaarie, tickerie, teven, Allaby, crockery, ten, or elaiven, Peen, pan, fusky dam, Wheedlum, whadlum, twenty-one.
