TINT, n.2 Sc. usage of Eng. tint, a colouring: a taste, touch, drop, small quantity, esp. of liquor (Sh. 1972). Also in Ir. and Eng. dial. Cf. Hue, id.Sh. 1886 J. Burgess Sketches 58:
