TOYACK, n. Also toyik, toi(e)g, toyeg, taueg. A small basket for holding meal or corn (Sh. 1866 Edm. Gl., 1908 Jak. (1928), Sh. 1972). [′tɔiək, -əg]Sh. 1888 Edmonston & Saxby Home of a Naturalist 184:
Da Oy's ferdemate in a peerie bjödie ae da wan haund an a taueg o' mell ae da tidder.
Sh. 1899 J. Spence Folk-Lore 172:
