I. n. A transaction, negotiation, matter of business (Fif. c.1850 Peattie MS.; Bnff., Abd., Ags., Slg., Ayr., Rxb. 1973). Rare and obs. in Eng.Abd. 1851 Apollodora North. Tales ii. 15:
