TRESTARIG, n. Whisky which has been distilled three times. Gael.Hebr. 1703 M. Martin Desscr. W. Islands 3:
Their plenty of corn was such, as disposed the natives to brew several sorts of liquor, as common Usquebaugh, another called Trestarig, i.e. Aquavitae, three times distill'd, which is strong and hot.
