TRIMSE, v., n. Also trimso as n.

I. v. To move about uneasily as in pain, freq. in pr.p. of a cow in labour, gaan trimsan (Ork. 1929 Marw., Ork. 1973). Also ppl.adj. trimsin, restless, restive (Ork. 1920).

II. n. Parturition, labour, in a cow, she's gaan i' trimso (Ork. 1929 Marw.).
