UPRISE, v. Also op- (Sh.). As in Eng., to rise up, get up in the morning. Pa.t. uprase (Sc. 1819 Scots Mag. (June) 526), -raise (Abd. 1828 P. Buchan Ballads II. 131). Sh. usage in vbl.n. uprisin, a removal from a house (Sh. 1973).Sh. 1898 Shetland News (9 April):
