WANBOD, n. A damaging report, an unfavourable story. Only in Smith.Abd. 1824 G. Smith Douglas 16, 61:
'Tis derfly said, there's few wha like to tell, (O women kin') sic wanbods on themsel' . . . Some gay big lads, wha wadna tak' it weel, Gif in their face folk would sic wanbods tell.
