¶WIGGIN, n. Appar. = the hair of the head, the “thatch”, as if a transf. use from Wig, n.1, but other versions of the song read riggin. See Riggin, n.1, and W. Walker Bards Bon-Accord (1887) 601.Abd. 1910 Rymour Club Misc. I. 145:
