WRANGLESOME, adj. Quarrelsome, given to arguing contentiously, conducivee to quarrelling (I.Sc., Abd. 1974). Also in n.Eng. dial.; also, in 1825 quot., full of bustle and hurry-burry, vexatious, harrassing.Sc. 1825 Anon Writer's Clerk xxix.:
It's no easy keepin' out fouk on a wranglesome day like this.
