The crowd followed us, in the most unreverent manner, making the Lord's house like an inn on a fair day, with their grievous yellyhooing.
wm.Sc. 1838 Whistle-Binkie 71:
The yelly-hooings o' wives and weans.
Kcb. 1896 Crockett Grey Man xii.:
