BELANG, v. Gen.Sc. for Eng. belong, indicating ownership of; with a direct obj., to belong to. Sometimes used, as in O.Sc., with an indirect obj.Bnff.2 1933:
I'm sorry for the man himsel' bit mair for them 'at belangs him.
