BODDA, BODDI, n. "Term of endearment to children or young persons" (Sh. 1908 Jak. (1928)). [′boda (Jak.)]Sh., Ork. 1908 Jak. (1928):
Mami's piri boddi, mother's little darling . . . Ork. "bodda" and "my peerie (little) bodda."
