'CAS', CASS, KIS, 'KISS, conj. Sc. forms of because. Known to Bnff.2, Abd. and Ags. correspondents, Slg.3 1938. The cas form is found also in Nhb. and Som. (E.D.D.). Cf. colloq. use of cos in Eng. [kəz, kəs, kɪz]Bnff.2 1939:
