COONTER-LOUPER, -LOWPER, Counterlowper, n. comb. A draper's assistant; a shopman; a “counter-jumper.” Also found in Yks. dial. (E.D.D.). Gen.Sc. [′kuntər′lʌupər]Abd.(D) 1917 C. Murray Sough o' War 38:
