FEERIE, n.1 Also †feeri (Sh. 1914 Angus Gl.), †firi (Sh. 1908 Jak. (1928)). An epidemic disease; also often of distemper in dogs (Sh. 1866 Edm. Gl.; Sh.11 1951), or of diarrhœa or of some trifling or rather ludicrous complaint (Sh.10 1951).
