Sic a lounder As . . . dang him flatlins like a flounder.
Sc. 1896 A. Lang Monk of Fife 161:
Her sword in her hand, wherewith she had smitten me flatlings, and not with the edge.
Abd. 1906 Sc. N. & Q. (2nd Ser.) VII. 139:
She was buried in St Machar's Churchyard, and a stone laid “flatlins” over her remains.
