GAMS, v. “To behave in a rude, reckless manner, making rough movements” (Sh. 1908 Jak. (1928)). Ppl.adj. gamsin, gamsit, romping, rampagious (Sh. 1953). [gɑms]Sh. 1908 Jak. (1928):
He cam' in gamsin, he entered in a rude manner: shø's gamsin aboot her, of a cow desiring the bull: it is becoming wild, running about, kicking, etc.
