1. The mouth (Sh. 1914 Angus Gl.). Hence g(j)ep-shot, adj., having the lower jaw projecting beyond the upper (Sh. 1866 Edm. Gl., gep-, 1897 Jakobsen Old Sh. Dial. 49, gabe-, 1914 Angus Gl., gjep-, Sh. 1954, geb-, g(j)ep-).
2. Tattle, gossip (Sh. 1908 Jak. (1928), gep), volubility (Sh. 1914 Angus Gl., gjep).
