GLEEBRIE, n. Of land: a large piece; “a large piece of waste ground” (Abd.8 (Upp. Deeside) 1917). Cf. Gliberal.Bnff.2 1930:

A piece of ground near Banff Academy is still known, as it was half a century ago, as the gleebrie.
