IRRITATE, v. Sc. Law: to make void, render of no effect, nullify (Sc. 1946 A. D. Gibb Legal Terms 46). Cf. Irritant.Sc. 1756 Acts of Sederunt (1790) 504:

Sc. 1891 J. Craigie Conveyancing 61:
