JOLE, n. Also jull; djoll (Jak.). A clumsy lump, a thick heavy piece of wood, a chunk of meat; “anything similarly clumsy” (Sh. 1914 Angus Gl.). [tʃɔl]Ork. 1893 Sc. Antiquary VIII. 57:
