NEVVAL, n. Also neval. A form of aival (Aval, adj.1, n.1), with prosthetic n from wrong division of on aival. Found only in adv. phr. a nev(v)al, aneival, upsides down, on the back, tumbled over (Cai. 1903 E.D.D., 1907 County of Cai. (Horne) 64). See Aval(d) adj.1, n.1, 2. and cf. P.L.D. § 157 (1).Cai. 1932 John o' Groat Jnl. (4 Nov.):
