I. v. To watch, tend, take care of, see to, look after (I. and ne.Sc., Ags. 1964); in 1907 quot. to look on with disapproval, censure, reprimand. Cf. Lat. animadvertere sim. used.Abd. 1700 Burgh Rec. Abd. (B.R.S.) 332:
