QUEETER, v., n.

I. v. To work lazily and languidly, to trifle, waste time (Bnff. 1866 Gregor D. Bnff. 137). Ppl.adj. queeterin, trifling, lackadaisical, and vbl.n. queeteran, the act of working lazily (Ib.). Cf. Cotter, v., 3.

II. n. The act of working in a half-hearted, trifling manner (Bnff. 1866 Gregor D. Bnff. 137).
