STRAWBERRY, n. Sc. usages:
1. As in Eng. Comb. strawberry ware, the seaweed, Fucus vesiculosus, “when the receptacles are large and swollen” (Sc. 1830 Edb. Encycl. X. 18).
2. A naevus, birth mark or wen, resembling a strawberry (Sc. 1904 E.D.D.). Also in Eng. dial. Cf. Rasp, id.
