THERECKLY, adv. Also therectly. A corrupt form of Eng. directly (Kcb., s.Sc. 1972). Also in n.Eng. dial. [ðə′rɛkle]Kcb. 1877 “Saxon” Gall. Gossip 175:
They're gaun tae dee thereckly.
Kcb. 1897 J. Morrison Miss McGraw 57:
My misses sent me to say ye were to come along therectly.
Rxb. 1925 E. C. Smith Mang Howes 15:
