TROO, int. Also trooy, truly, trui. A call to cows or calves (Abd., Gall. 1905 E.D.D.; Bnff. 1924 Swatches o' Hamespun 8). Also in form troo-lady, -leddy, a call to cows at milking-time (Rxb. 1923 Watson W.-B.).Edb. 1864 A. Logan Auld Reekie 110:
