UNDOCHT, n., adj. Also undought; ¶oindroch.

I. n. A puny, weak creature (Sc. 1710 T. Ruddiman Gl. to Douglas Aeneis, 1825 Jam.; Sh. c.1870 E.D.D.; Cai. 1904 E.D.D., Cai. 1973). See also Ondocht, n., Wandocht, n.

II. adj. Sickly, puny, feeble; contemptible. See Wandocht, adj.Sc. 1773 Weekly Mag. (28 Oct.) 146:
The oindroch flock I ca', You see to skin an' bane are dow'd awa.

[O.Sc. undocht, = I., a.1508, Un- + docht s.v. Doucht, power, strength. The form oindroch is phs. due to confusion with Droich.]
