ACCESSION, n. Sc. usages: complicity, concurrence or assent in some action. Sc. Law phr. deed of accession, a written agreement whereby creditors assent to a general arrangement made by the trust deed of a bankrupt (Sc. 1838 W. Bell Dict. Law Scot. 7). Cf. Access.Sc. 1737 in Scott H. Midlothian vii. note:

Accession to a trust-deed was found to be sufficiently proved by letters from the creditors authorising their agent to concur with the acceding creditors. Sc. 1828 Scott F. M. Perth xxi.:
