Ȝondir, -er, -yr, adv. Also: -ar, yonder, yhondyr, ȝounder. [ME and e.m.E. yonder (Cursor M.), ȝonder (Trevisa), younder (1641).] Over there, at a distance (but within sight). b. Hither and yonder, hither and thither, this way and that. 1375 Barb. xii 114.
